Osteopathy is a discipline that detects and treats movement restrictions in the body. These restrictions of movement can occur in any tissue in the body and lead to functional disorders. Osteopathy can thus help reduce your pain, promote your recovery and improve your health.

Osteopathy for adults, children and babies

Osteopathy can be used in adults as well as in babies and children. Osteopathy in adults can be applied through gentle direct or indirect manipulative techniques, stretching and reflex massages in order to eliminate the impaired mobility of the affected joints, organs and structures and thus return the body to its natural balance. Osteopathy in babies and children is a gentle and efficient treatment method. Due to the use of gentle techniques, side effects are rare and the treatment is experienced as pleasant.

What does an osteopathic treatment entail?

An osteopathy treatment takes an average of 45 minutes. During the first consultation, an extensive history (conversation related to your medical history) is taken and any serious causes are excluded. The patient is examined extensively in order to treat the primary cause as specifically as possible.

On average, 3 to 5 treatments are required, with an interval of 2 to 3 weeks. This varies depending on the complaint.

If you are in possession of additional research results such as RX, CT scan, NMR, blood analysis, it is advisable to bring them as this can provide additional useful information.

In addition to the treatment itself, we will try to give you insight into the origins of your problems. If necessary, we will also try to guide you through advice on your diet and lifestyle. This way you will be able to contribute to vital health yourself. Because know: health starts with yourself in the first instance.
