The ear treatment or karna purana is an administration of medicinal herbal oil through the ear. This is nourishing and protective for the ears and other senses.
What can you expect from the Karna Purana therapy?
Prior to this treatment, an Indian head massage with warm medicinal herbal oil is given and the marma points are massaged. The oil is poured into the ears and it stays in the ears for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, the face is massaged gently and also around the ear and at the junction of the neck and skull. This so that the oil can flow properly there. The ear canal can get rid of excessive vayu or air. The hands are also massaged during this karna purana therapy.
