The Shirodhara massage package consists of the 60 min full body massage or Abhyanga followed by the herbal steam therapy. This is followed by an extensive head massage and Shirodhara therapy. This is the ideal stress-reducing massage package.

What can you expect from the Shirodhara massage package?

Enjoy a blissful massage from head to toe! With this body massage, the energy channels (nadis) and the energetic points (marma points) are stimulated so that the self-healing capacity of body and mind is stimulated. This massage is followed by the swedana or herbal steam therapy. This ensures the removal of the waste products that have come to the surface through the massage.

All this is followed by the Shirodhara, perhaps the best known Ayurvedic treatment in the West. This continuous oil flow over the third eye is extremely beneficial for the entire nervous system. Warm medicinal herbal oil or other infusions are lowered slowly with a continuous stream onto the third eye using a copper pot hanging over the head. The treatment can be given with a specific main oil or with milk. It is preceded by an extensive head massage in which the marma points or energetic pressure points are also massaged.
